Christmas Oratorio by Johann Sebastian Bach

This concert presents a selection of four cantatas from Bach’s Christmas Oratorio, composed in 1734.

The repertoire includes cantatas 1, 2, 4 and 6, which narrate from the birth of Jesus and the announcement to the shepherds to the arrival of the Magi.
