Alonso Quesada through words

The Biblioteca Insular de Gran Canaria presents the documentary exhibition entitled Alonso Quesada through words, dedicated to the figure of the modernist writer.

Curated by Lucía López Orta, co-founder and strategic and commercial director of the ULPGC startup ‘LU(G)AR. Gestión Cultural y Literaria’, with the advice of Professor Antonio Becerra, the collection on display at the Island Library offers the public a careful selection of fragments of the work of the writer Alonso Quesada, photographs, letters, manuscripts, personal objects, press clippings from the period, books and original documents belonging to the patrimonial collection of the Island Library of Gran Canaria itself, The exhibition allows the visitor to become an attentive stroller, immersing himself in the atmosphere of the era and the poet’s gaze, rediscovering the unique sensitivity of one of the most singular authors of Canarian literature and of the current of Canarian modernism.
