Muelle Deportivo is located in the city centre, next to Las Alcaravaneras Beach. It is the largest marina for small vessels in the Canary Islands and a key transit point for transatlantic sailors arriving from all five continents.
The Atlantic Rally for Cruisers (ARC) departs from here, a transatlantic sailing regatta that sets course for the Caribbean every November. It is one of the most striking winter scenes the city has to offer.
The marina has 1,363 berths on pontoons for vessels of up to 50 metres in length, as well as specialised workshops and a comprehensive maintenance service for carrying out any type of repair or purchasing nautical spare parts. Boat hire is also available.
The Club Marítimo Varadero, the Federación de Vela Latina de Botes and the Escuela de Vela all have their facilities at Muelle Deportivo.
In addition, there are terraces and restaurants where visitors can enjoy a drink or a meal while taking in the atmosphere and the views of the port and the bay.
