The Santa Catalina Cruise Pier is the gateway to Las Palmas de Gran Canaria for the thousands of cruise passengers who visit the city each year, a traditional stop on cruise itineraries. During the high season—from October to April—this cruise pier records a high level of activity and offers a distinctive view of the Port of Las Palmas.
As soon as visitors leave the pier, they find themselves in the city centre, in Santa Catalina Park. From here, they can take the tourist bus, which has a stop at the port exit, or use other means of transport—from public transport to Síticleta, the public bike-sharing service—to enjoy the tourist attractions of the capital before continuing their journey.
