Paraninfo of the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria

The Paraninfo of the Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria hosts, in addition to the formal events of academic life, concerts and activities that enrich the city’s cultural scene.

It is located in the Rectorado, in Vegueta, an emblematic building that is also home to the ULPGC Art Gallery, which presents temporary exhibitions. Throughout the building, visitors can admire paintings and sculptures of contemporary art, mostly by Canarian artists, works that form part of the heritage of the Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
