Nuestra Señora de Los Dolores Church

The Nuestra Señora de los Dolores church is the work of the Catalan architect Joan Margarit i Serradell. Located in Schamann, next to Don Benito Park, its construction in 1959 initiated the expansion of this neighborhood of Ciudad Alta. One of the peculiarities of the church is its tower, 33 meters high, which looks separate from the main building.

It is one of the great references of the architecture of the sixties in the city, together with other works of the same author such as the Obelisk, in the Plaza de la Constitución, or the Central Market.
