Santa Catalina Pier is the gateway to Las Palmas de Gran Canaria for the thousands of cruise passengers who visit the city each year, a traditional stop on cruise itineraries. During the high season—from October to April—this cruise pier sees significant activity and offers a distinctive image of the Port of Las Palmas.
Stepping off the pier, visitors find themselves right in the city centre, in Santa Catalina Park. From here, it is possible to take the guagua turística, which has a stop at the port exit, or to use other options—from public transport to Síticleta (the public bike service)—to enjoy the tourist attractions of the capital of Gran Canaria before continuing the journey.
