International Bach Festival Canarias

An attraction for those visiting the city during Easter Week is the International Bach Festival, which brings together musicians from the Philharmonic Orchestra of Gran Canaria and the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra of Amsterdam, accompanied by talented young musicians, different choirs and renowned international performers.

The Alfredo Kraus Auditorium is the main stage for a program that has Johann Sebastian Bach as its starting point, and includes from historicist versions to more modern and contemporary ways of interpreting the music of Bach and his contemporaries.
