Atlantic Rally for Cruises

One of the great events of ocean sailing is the Atlantic Rally for Cruises, which since 1986 brings together sailors from all over the world every November in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Every year, the rally brings together some 250 yachts, some up to 40 meters in length, and 1,500 sailors of all ages.

The boats depart from the Muelle Deportivo and cross the Atlantic towards St. Lucia. The two departures that the race contemplates -one direct to the Caribbean island and the other with a stop in Cape Verde- are one of the most spectacular postcards that the city offers in autumn.
