Weather

Warm, bright and exceptionally pleasant all year round—this is the climate of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, allowing visitors to enjoy its beaches, streets and open spaces at any time. With an average annual temperature of 22°C, the city is known for its mild winters and moderate summers. The capital of Gran Canaria proudly ranks among the cities with the most privileged climatic conditions on the planet. In the study “Pleasant Weather Ratings” by Thomas Peter Whitmore, published in 1996, it was positioned as the city with the best climate in the world.
  • Spring

Mild and pleasant weather, with temperatures around 20 degrees Celsius, ideal for strolling through nature, full of life and color, and to be conquered by the cultural and leisure offer.

  • Summer

Sunny and warm days, with temperatures between 25 and 30 degrees, perfect for enjoying the beaches. The "panza de burro˝, accumulation of low clouds brought by the trade winds, frees the city from heat waves.

  • Autumn

Warm and pleasant, with mild temperatures that invite outdoor activities. Autumn is felt in the sky, brighter: during the day, intense blue; and at sunrise and sunset it is tinged with yellow, orange, red, violet.

  • Winter

Between 18 and 20 degrees. To escape the continental cold, nothing better than Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
