Noche de San Juan – Foundational Festivities

Founded on June 24, 1478 under the name of El Real de las Tres Palmas, the city celebrates with enthusiasm every summer the anniversary of its birth. The Founding Festivities have in the night of San Juan one of its most popular and multitudinous events: thousands of people gather on the beach of Las Canteras to watch the fireworks and enjoy live music.

The festivities include cultural, sports and leisure events that take place throughout the month of June.
